Hello! I’m Renn (they/them), and I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m a queer, nonbinary/trans, and AuDHD CranioSacral Therapist, small business owner, and advocate in West Michigan. I share life with a loveable corgi named Kylo and am a step-parent to two amazing kids with high support needs.

My journey with CranioSacral Therapy (CST) began in 2010, and it has changed my life in ways I never expected. CST opened doors to safety, self-discovery, and healing— helping me process trauma, embrace my authentic identity, and improve my overall well-being. It’s been a powerful tool for learning to accept and celebrate my unique neurodivergence, and for challenging internalized ableism. Through CST, I’ve learned to trust my own process, prioritize my needs, and grow into a more embodied version of myself. I believe this kind of healing is possible for you, too.

I founded Red Maple CST to co-create healing spaces where clients— especially queer, trans, and neurodivergent folx, can find safety, unmask, heal, and celebrate their authentic selves. Growing up, I took comfort in a red maple tree that grew outside my childhood home. Its unconditional and neutral presence offered me co-regulation, rootedness, resiliency, and the gentle promise of change. These qualities are innate to all of us and I trust that you’ll find integration and healing in this work.

Let’s connect. I invite you to reach out— right here, just as you are. I look forward to supporting you.

An intentional practice.

Our first priority at Red Maple CranioSacral is to create a safe space for every person who wishes to receive services from us. We support each unique individual and celebrate their interconnecting identities, including their culture, race, eduction, generational history, sex, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, age, color, religion, body type, abilities, communication styles, beliefs and opinions. Healing happens in connection and relationship and Red Maple honors each individual experience that makes a person who they are. All are welcome here.

Collaboration

Here at Red Maple, you will be empowered to play an active role in your therapy. You will learn to listen to and trust your body. We will address your symptoms as well as the root causes behind them, empowering you to continue to make change. This way of collaborating honors your agency and ability to create change. You are the expert on yourself.

Competent Care

At Red Maple CST, you are safe to explore within yourself, as superficially or as deeply as you wish. Renn will follow you, with your consent, into any emotion, memory, and somatic experience you bring to the table. Your healing process will be honored exactly as it is, without judgment or expectation. Red Maple CST is a trans and queer CELEBRATED practice— you are welcome to come as your most authentic self, and find acceptance, safety, and healing.

  • “The amount of compassion and empathy Renn holds for clients is extraordinary. Renn's ability to tune into the body becomes evident very early on in the session. The lack of judgment and the abundance of trust that can be shared in a session with Renn creates a beautiful space of safety."
